The Women Leaders Association, a national organization serving women professionals with 43,000 members and more than 130 regional chapters, has named Dina Perreault, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, ACC, as the first official Coaching Partner for its Philadelphia chapter. This appointment marks the launch of the association's Coaching Partners program in Philadelphia, offering members access to coaches screened for credentials, experience, and client results.
The Coaching Partners program was developed to address the challenges professional women face in finding qualified coaches. With coaching titles unregulated and quality varying widely, the association's program vets each coach for recognized certifications, substantial experience, and strong client reviews. This process aims to provide members with confidence when booking consultations and support their professional growth with proven expertise.
"There is no shortage of leadership advice," said Perreault. "What many leaders lack is a trusted partner who will tell them the truth." Perreault's clients are described as accomplished and driven, seeking not just encouragement but practical guidance to navigate complex leadership challenges. She is known for her direct, no-nonsense approach, helping leaders identify blind spots, challenge assumptions, and move forward with confidence and purpose.
Perreault brings extensive experience to her new role. She served for a decade as a U.S. Army officer and commander, including deployment in Saudi Arabia during Desert Shield and Desert Storm as a PATRIOT missile officer. After her military service, she spent 25 years in corporate human resources, including 17 years as Vice President of Human Resources at The Faulkner Organization, a 31-dealership automotive group with more than 2,000 employees. During her tenure, she built the HR function from the ground up, led the company through its first reduction in force during the automotive downturn, and managed 24 franchise acquisitions as the economy recovered. Faulkner dealerships received more than 60 Best Place to Work awards during this period.
Perreault's coaching style is characterized by directness and practical insight. She creates an environment for honest conversations, focusing on real-world results rather than simply raising awareness. "Insight matters, but action creates change," she says. Her approach is informed by her experiences as often the only woman in senior leadership settings, shaping her commitment to supporting women leaders as they build confidence, expand influence, and strengthen their leadership presence.
"I was consistently the only woman in the room," Perreault said. "That shaped my commitment to helping women build confidence, expand their influence, and navigate the realities of organizational life without losing sight of who they are. My goal is not simply to help women reach the next level. It is to help them lead successfully once they get there. I am honored to bring that to the Women Leaders Association's Philadelphia members."
Through her firm, P3 Consulting, Perreault coaches executives, HR leaders, and high-performing women as they take on greater roles and responsibilities. The firm's approach—People, Process, Performance—reflects her belief in integrating leadership development with organizational strategy. She is an Associate Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation with more than 450 coaching hours, a Coach Training Alliance Certified Coach, and holds both SPHR and SHRM-SCP credentials.
Perreault is also the author of four books on leadership and professional development, including "Business Casual: What They Didn't Teach You in School." She is a keynote speaker, board member for business-focused nonprofits, Director for PA SHRM, and has taught as an MBA instructor for more than a decade. Her background also includes a 3rd-degree black belt in TaeKwonDo and certification as a Pilates instructor, which she incorporates into her holistic approach to coaching.
Philadelphia-area members can view Perreault's full profile, including her focus areas and credentials, or schedule a complimentary 30-minute conversation through her profile page.
"Our members are senior enough that flattery is worthless to them. What is scarce is someone who will say the difficult thing and has the standing to be believed," said Lydia Price, 2026 Volunteer Chair of the Women Leaders Association. "Dina commanded soldiers, ran HR for a 2,000-person company through a bankruptcy-era downturn, and coaches with that behind her. Philadelphia members who want a coach who tells the truth now have one."
The Philadelphia launch is part of a national rollout expanding the Coaching Partners program across more than 130 chapters, pairing members in each city with coaches selected for their market. The initiative supports the association's mission to provide professional women with both structural transparency and individual support. The association's Glass Ceiling Score project evaluates major U.S. employers on their advancement of women, and Coaching Partners adds a personal dimension by connecting members with experienced coaches.
